About ME
My name is Brian and I am the proud owner of On-Demand Tutoring. I am a high school junior and I actually attend college too! I am part of a program in Virginia called Governor's School which offers high-achieving students within the state the chance to attend college while in high school. The year I graduate from high school, I will also walk across the college stage with my associate degree! I am in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society (a prestigious COLLEGE honor society) for high-achieving college students. I am also in the National Honor Society. So, as you can see, I am extremely qualified, and because I am still in school,
I connect on a level to children and teens that older tutors can't!

Why choose a tutor still in school over an older tutor?You should choose me simply because I am still in school! Older tutors have most likely been out of school for years and most of the time don't understand the way things are being taught now, but I do! I also relate to you or your child a lot better because we share something in common, we are both currently in school! I am also extremely qualified as I am in the top of my class at my high school and am one of the top performing students at my college (Yes, I go to college and high school! Go to the about me section in the home tab to learn more about me!).

What grades do you tutor?I tutor grades K-12 and I even have a good knowledge of some college level material.

Should I cancel my plan during summer?No, most children fall behind during summer and with me, I will make sure that doesn't happen.

What can we do in a 15 minute tutoring session?The 15 minute session is recommended for when you just have a couple of questions about a homework or short assignment. I suggest booking a 30 minute or 1 hour session if you have lots of questions. To book, click here.

What happens if you are still teaching past my scheduled end time?I actually do this a lot because I am so committed to helping my students learn. Although, don't worry, you won't be charged for this extra time.

Can you just give me the answers to my homework?Yes and no, while I can help you get the answers to your homework, I won't just give you all the answers without explaining why. You have to learn why!

What will we talk about during the consultation?You can ask me any questions you may have and if you plan on purchasing a plan or individual session, we can make a game plan for that session.

How much time in advance do I have to book my session?You must book 6 hours in advance. To book, click here.

So if I am a plan holder, is booking a session free?"Yes, as long as you have not booked your max amount of sessions for the month, booking is free. Book a session by clicking the book online tab at the top of the site.

What is BitPaper?BitPaper is the program I like to use to communicate and collaborate with my students. This application allows my students and I to both work on the same whiteboard in real time and communicate through video, audio, and/or chatting. To learn more about BitPaper, click here.

What if I don't know how to use BitPaper?It is easy to learn how to use BitPaper. If on mobile: 1. Go to the top of the page 2. Tap the three lines 3. Tap BitPaper 4. Tap Using BitPaper. There is no option to join call, what do I do?"Oops. This is most likely my fault. I may not be on just yet, but you can start the call yourself. Follow these steps below to start the call yourself: 1. Click or tap the phone button in the bottom left corner. 2. Click or tap the start call button in the top left corner. 3. Sign up or login if prompted 4. Click or tap allow 5. Wait for me to join the call. I shouldn't be too long, but if it does take too long, please contact me via the contact me tab. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

How do I turn my camera on so you can see me?Click the camera button in the second box.

I don't think you can hear me, what do I do?"Click the microphone button in the second box.

How do I share my screen?Click or tap the computer button (3rd button) in the second box, then follow the instructions.

I can't hear you, what do I do?"Click the speaker button in the first box.

How do I draw?Use your mouse or finger, and just drag it across the white space to draw.

Where is the toolbar?You may have clicked it and made it disappear. Click the teal arrow to bring it back.

You can't still see me after I have closed the tab, correct?"Once you close the tab, you can no longer see my camera feed and I can no longer see your camera feed. You can also end the call or click the camera button to close your camera.

How do I get the screen recordings like promised in the plans tab?I will email them to you after our session.

How long will it take for you to respond to me?Hopefully I will be able to get back to you within a couple of hours. Ideally I would like to get back to you within an hour, but I do go to school and am busy learning, so getting back to you within an hour is quite hard!

What is that little blue bubble at the bottom right of the site?It is a chat bubble! You can use that to communicate with me and I will get back to you asap. Just click on it, type your message, and click send. If I am online, the bubble allows me to communicate with you in real time. I really take communicating with my prospective and loyal customers seriously!
